Policy

Web Design Commitment Terms & Conditions
Web design policy varies on a "per job evaluation" basis. Some web concepts require a longer period of time to complete than others. For example, a three page miniature "brochure" style website can be accomplished in as little as 16 hours. Other sites, that implement Flash movies, slide shows, large photo galleries, feedback forms, downloadable PDF files, music, narration, etc... can take as long as a month.

In order for Mueller Graphic Design to begin your web project:

1. Projects do not start until a down payment of 50% of the quoted estimate is received via credit card, check, or cash payement. There is a 3% surcharge on Visa/Mastercard transactions.
2. Client must sign a written agreement between parties in agreeance abaout the work expected, and payment expected.
3. Web Updates and "re-designs" are $45.00 per hour, or a $15.00 minimum. No exceptions.
4. Websites are not posted until the remaining balance is paid in full.
5. Rush charges are applied to "overnight" projects, or deadline oriented material that must be moved to a "priority status," henceforth moving other projects from other clients back in the chain of work flow. Weekend Fees are applied to rush projects that arrive on a Friday, and must be done on Monday morning. Weekend rates are $85.00 per hour. No exceptions.
6. Completed work with no response from customers and clients will result in an additional $25.00 Kill Fee. Your project(s) will then move to the bottom of the priority list.
7. Content is the responsibility of the client, not Mueller Graphic Design. Photography projects are $60.00 per hour. Copyright is $60 per hour.
Please remember: All "requests" and "submissions" are treated as individual projects, and will be billed as individual projects.

Apparel
Apparel projects require a 50% down payment. Full payment of apparel is due upon pickup or delivery.
Print Projects
Print projects require a written agreement. All proofing is done via the internet. Jobs do not go to press until a final approval is received from the client. Emails are saved and printed as proof of the project agreement, and will be used as a contractual obligation. Payment is due upon delivery or pickup of printed materials.

Answers to frequently asked questions:

Question:
How Long does an apparel print or embroidery job take?
Answer:
Depending on the complexity of your design, the amount of printing that is to be completed, and the type of apparel you have selected, the most complicated jobs can take up to 3 weeks. Most T-shirt jobs take 10 business days. Embroidered hats and corporate apparel can take up to 8 business days. Rush requests are available. Rush apparel jobs are subject to a 10% surcharge.

Question:
Is my artwork mine to keep and take elsewhere?
Answer:
Absolutely. CD-ROMS are $5.00.

Question:
Do I have to sign a long-term agreement for Mueller Graphic Design to maintain my website?
Answer:
No. We opperate on a "per call" process. You need something done? Got another project? Just let us know.

Question:
I got a quote from your competitor. They are going to build me an elaborate website using a template? Can you do that?
Answer:
We make templates. Store bought templates are pretty nice to use in certain applications. Sometimes they are more of a hassle than starting from scratch. Whatever you would prefer, that is fine with us. We can build any template design you desire. Please note that most templates look great in their "DEMO" mode, but the visual "flare" loses its appeal quickly when your content doesn't "gel" with the demo version. Most of the time, clients prefer to start from scratch with elements that reflect their current business "theme."

Question:
I want to sell online. What's the easaiest way to do so?
Answer:
Call and we'll tell you all about it. We can get you selling online in 5 days.
